God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. – Ephesians 1:22 NLT

Steps on Your Journey to Know God More Intimately

• Meditate on the fact that Jesus is the Head over All Things for the Benefit of the Church. He is supreme over everything in all creation. But He does it for the church. Ask Him to show you what this means.
• How does Jesus being the head of all things benefit you, who are part of the church? Ask Him to show you.
• What do you need, that Christ can give you, because He is the head over everything?

A Prayer for You

God, thank You that You put everything under the authority of Christ and made Him the Head over All Things for the Benefit of the Church. Your ways and plans are so much higher and greater than mine. Help me to know You more through this name today.
