Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does the Bible say about healthy relationships?

God designed us for relationship with Him and with each other. Scripture calls us to love, listen, forgive, encourage, and bear with one another, practical skills that build trust and healthy community in families, churches, and ministry teams.

How can I communicate better in my relationships?

Listen to understand before responding, draw people out with good questions, be aware of your tone and body language, and speak the truth with care. These skills can be learned and practiced.

How can I be a better listener?

Give the person your full attention and put away distractions. Listen to understand rather than to prepare your reply, ask open questions that draw them out, and repeat back what you heard to check you understood. Notice feelings as well as words. James 1:19 sums it up: be quick to listen and slow to speak.
