Steps on Your Journey to Know God More Intimately
- Meditate on this name today. God loves you so much that He won’t reject your prayer or withhold His love from you. He loves to hear you talk to Him. He loves spending time with you.
- Have you ever been in a relationship where the other person withholds his or her love from you, because you did something wrong? God will never do that to you. Never. Ever.
- There have been times in my life when I felt like God had rejected my prayer. It felt like I might as well be praying to myself. No answers. Have you ever felt that way? Now, when I feel like that, I choose to stand on this name of God.
- I’ve also felt like God withheld his love from me. He hadn’t, but it felt like that. Everything important in my life seemed to be taken away—my marriage, my son, my fiancé, my finances, my best friend and more. For a while, I believed the lie of the enemy that God didn’t love me, so I walked away from God. I know now that wasn’t true. God has shown me His love in so many ways.
- Think about God’s great love for you today. If you don’t feel His love, invite Him to reveal it to you in ways you can understand.
- Ask the Lord to show you who needs to hear that He loves them. Then go share what God is showing you about His great love.
A Prayer for You
Lord, I praise You that You don’t reject my prayers and that You will never withhold Your love for me. Thank You for always listening to my prayers. I’m so glad I never have to fear that You’ll be too busy to listen or You will think my prayers are a bother to You.
