God’s Name: Chief Shepherd

1Peter 5:4—And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

Some things you can do today with God’s name:

• Read 1 Peter 5:1-4. Peter told the elders to be “Shepherds of God’s flock that is under you.” They were to act as shepherds, but they were under the Chief Shepherd.
• Sometimes the shepherds over us, our leaders in our churches, don’t act the way they are supposed to. Remember, you have access to the Chief Shepherd. He will guide you and care for you.
• How does your Shepherd help you manage stress?
• What would you like to ask your Shepherd today?
