Jesus’ Name: One Who Called You to Live in the Grace of Christ

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting

the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ

and are turning to a different gospel.

Galatians 1:6

Steps on Your Journey to Know God More Intimately:

• Remember, grace means unmerited favor or blessings.
• We have a choice. We can live under the law, with all its dos and don’ts. Or, we can live in the grace of Christ. I don’t see much of a choice there. Why would I want to live under the law when I can live in God’s favor and blessing? That’s an amazing place to be. Yet, we often forget and end up choosing to live under the law.
• What does it mean to you that God called you to live in the grace of Christ?
• Are you ever like the Galatians turning from God’s grace to a different gospel? If you’re not sure, ask the Lord to show you.
• Meditate on this name today. Ask the Lord to show you more of what it means.

A Prayer for You:

Lord, thank You that You called me to live in the grace of Christ. What a wonderful place to live! Help me to always live there and not desert You, like the Galatians did. Forgive me, Lord, for the times I have deserted You. I want to learn to live more in Your grace.
