You have turned from the God who can save you.
You have forgotten the Rock who can hide you.
Isaiah 17:10 (NLT)
Steps on Your Journey to Know God More Intimately:
- The English Standard Version says, “You have forgotten the God of your salvation.” Could this be said of you, that you have forgotten the God Who Can Save You? If so, spend time today to reconnect with Him. You might need to tell Him you’re sorry and ask for His forgiveness.
- Take time to remember what God has done for you, how He came to earth to be your Savior. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want anyone to ever say that I have forgotten the God who saved me. Just about every day I thank the Lord for what He did for me on the cross. Don’t let it ever be said of you that you have turned from God your Savior.
- God saves us in different ways. Just yesterday when I was out walking in the forest alone, He saved me from a potentially harmful situation. He did it in a very unusual way—with a severe pain in my knee, so I couldn’t keep walking. As soon as I turned around, the pain went away. I found out, if I had continued that path, I would have walked right by some men committing a crime. Who knows what they might have done? Thank You, Lord!
- Ask the Lord to reveal more of Himself through this name.
A Prayer for You:
God Who Can Save Me, thank You for all the ways You have saved me—from my sins, as well as from people, situations and even from myself. Help me to learn to see how You are working in my life every day. I want to always acknowledge when You save me.
Blessings on you as you get to know God,
