The Choice to Rejoice

Philippians 4:4—Rejoice in the Lord always; and again I will say rejoice.

In chapter 3, verse 1, Paul had told them to rejoice in the Lord.

He told them the same thing three times!

  • Why do you think Paul repeated himself?
  • How often does this verse say we are to rejoice?
  • Do you know what the Greek word for “always” means? You guessed it—Always!

How do we rejoice in the Lord? One way is to focus on who God is and what He’s done for you. It’s amazing how that can change your perspective and bring you such joy. I encourage you to try it.

If you’re not getting the daily names of God, I’d encourage you to get them. They help you to focus on the Lord. Go to www.DailyNameofGod.com. You can get them sent to you each day. Don’t worry, you can easily get off the list.

I pray blessings on you as you choose to rejoice in the Lord today and every day.
