Sometimes we get overloaded with too much mental garbage (much that is very good, but sometimes we can get to the point of being overwhelmed and need a break.

Mental relaxation could include:

  1. listening to soothing music while lying down or reclining
  2. reading a favorite novel
  3. watching a good movie
  4. playing games, if they are relaxing for you—for example, video games are relaxing for my sons, but are very stressful for me.
  5. going for a walk to a peaceful or beautiful spot
  6. laughter through reading, videos, jokes, etc.
