Where’s the Joy?

The following is Excerpted from

Keys to Joy: How to Unlock God’s Gift of Lasting Happiness

© 2012 Relationship Resources, Inc.

  1. Who are we to rejoice in and why?
    1. Rejoice in the Lord, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name.  Psalm 97:12 NIV
    2. I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. Isaiah 61:10 NIV

  1. How do these verses impact you today?
  2. List things in your relationship to the Lord that bring you joy.
  3.  Meditate on your list from the last question. How do these bring you joy today? If they don’t, why do you think they don’t?
