Who’s in charge?

Many times we live as if Satan is in charge, as if he has more power than we do. We focus on his power and fail to see that in Christ, we have already won the victory. Jesus did it once and for all on the cross. He won! He already won! Do you believe that? Thank Him right now that He already won the victory.

And because He won, we can live in victory. That’s not to say that hard times won’t happen. That’s not to say that the enemy won’t attack us, he will. That’s what he does. His job is to try to steal, kill and destroy us, our families and our ministries (John 10:10). He’ll steal, kill and destroy anything we allow him to. Sometimes by not doing anything at all, we allow the enemy to destroy us. We need to remember that we have the victory, because of what Jesus did for us.

At the end of John 10:10 Jesus says, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Jesus came to give us a full, abundant, victorious life. Are you experiencing in that? Why or why not?

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be looking at how we can walk in victory in our lives.

I pray God’s blessings and strength on you as you serve Him, in whatever capacities you are serving. I pray that today, you will be overwhelmed by God’s great love for you, by His rich mercy and grace.

Blessings,
