God’s Name of the Day: Capstone/ Cornerstone

Matthew 21:42—Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?”

Some things you can do today with God’s name:

• Capstone comes from the Greek word, “goinia” meaning angle. The cornerstone is used in the foundation. It is the most important stone in the foundation, because it bears greater weight.
• Meditate on how Jesus is the Capstone/Cornerstone. How has He been a cornerstone in your life?
