Studying facts about God is a critical first level. But if we want to know Him personally and intimately, we can’t remain there. Facts alone can’t bring joy in hard times.

How do we get these truths about God down into our hearts? Here are a two ideas. Try them and add your own favorites to this list.

1.  Focus on what God has done and is doing in your life and thank Him.

2.  Browse through the Psalms. As you discover descriptions of God, underline them. Then praise Him for who He is.
