I Know God Lives in Me

All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them,

and they live in God.

Steps on Your Journey to Discover How God Sees You:

• Do you have confidence that God is living in you? Why or why not?
• What do these verses say must happen for God to live in you?

1 John 2:5 (NLT): “Those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him.”

1 John 3:9 (ESV): “No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God.”

1 John 4:15 (NLT): “All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.”

• If you are not sure if God is living in you, talk to Him about that.
• Think about what God is able to do. And if He is living in you, what does this mean you can do? Meditate on this today.

A Prayer for You:

Dear God, thank You that I can know You are living in me. Show me if there is anything I need to do for You to live in me. I give You permission to do whatever You want in and through my life. I want Your power to be seen through me. I want others to see You are living in me.
