A Daily Adventure with 365 of His Names

You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas.

Psalm 65:5 (NIV)

Steps on Your Journey to Know God More Intimately:

  • The Hebrew word for hope, mibtakh, means confidence, security, a refuge, hope, trust and sure.
  • How is God the Hope of All the Ends of the Earth and of the Farthest Seas? Think about that.
  • Why doesn’t this verse just say that God is our hope?
  • How has God given you hope in the past?
  • In what areas do you need hope today?
  • Thank Him for being your hope and for giving you hope.
  • If you don’t yet have a personal relationship God, then you may not have much hope. If you’d like to learn more about how you can find more hope, email me at Gaylyn@gaylyn.net.
  • Notice the beginning of this verse. God answers us with awesome and righteous deeds. How have you seen Him do that?

A Prayer for You:

Thank You, Lord, that You are the Hope of All the Ends of the Earth and You are also my Hope. Thank You for the hope You bring me in every area of my life. I want to always find my Hope in You, rather than in people or things, because You are the only One I can completely depend on.

Blessings on you as you get to know God,
